“We/Us” means Blue Murder Events. “The Event” means any package organized by Blue Murder Events including venues, meals and musical entertainment. “You” means the person or the company who has signed the booking form and includes all the people on whose behalf you have signed. “Supplier” means the company or person that is holding or providing the venue or any part of the booking. “Price” means the total cost of the event.

1. These terms and conditions govern the contract between You and Us to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions, save for those implied by law, and no variations to these terms and conditions shall be valid unless in writing and signed by you and the company.
2. Formation of Contract
No contract shall arise between You and Us until we have received a deposit payable and we have sent to you written confirmation of our acceptance of your booking. 3. Lead Name
The lead name on any booking with us accepts the full responsibility of collecting the full balance payable for the booking and indemnifies Blue Murder Events against any loss from individual failing to pay within your group. The lead name of the group is also responsible for ensuring that all group members are aware they are bound by our Terms and Conditions. It is understood that those booking via email or telephone agree to, and accept our Terms and Conditions without having signed a booking form.
4. Payment and Deposits
Deposits are payable at the time of booking and the balance is payable on 1 week prior to the event. The first payment is a £100 deposit to secure the date of the event with Blue Murder Events, then the remaining balance is due 1 week before the date of the event with final numbers of attendees. Payments can be made by post in the form of a cheque made payable to Blue Murder Events or by electronic bank transfer. Bank details will be supplied on request. Where upon receipt we will endeavour to place the booking for you at the same price, although this cannot be guaranteed.
5. Cancellation made by Us.
We may cancel the event or any part of it: if we reasonably believe that you may cause harm or damage to our reputation or to the reputation of our suppliers or property belonging to our suppliers; if suppliers or supplier is or are unable to host the event for any reason; if changes you wish to make to the booking means it is uneconomical or impractical to hold the event. If we cancel the whole event we shall use our best endeavors to rearrange the event on a mutually convent date.
6. Cancellation by You
You may cancel your booking within a period of 7 days after the initial deposit. After this point the following applies, you may cancel the event as a whole and must pay us a cancellation fee. If you cancel the booking we will not refund any deposits paid to us. The cancellation of your booking must be made in writing and from the lead name of the group. The amount of the cancellation fee is calculated according to the date on which we receive written notice of your wish to cancel, if you wish to cancel the booking with us more than 4 weeks in advance of the event, then the cancellation fee is 25% of the total cost of the booking, then the cancellation fee is 100% of the total cost of the booking.
7. Failure to Provide an Event
If, due to reasons beyond our control, an event is unable to take place due to (but without limitation); closure of premises, the cease of trading, a change in supplier management, we will provide you and your group with a credit against a future booking with Blue Murder Events within 12 months.
8. Your Obligations
You shall at all times behave safe, responsible and courteous manner; comply with all instructions; regulations and codes of practice issued by Us or our suppliers; ensure that you comply with all age restrictions imposed by our suppliers. If you breach these obligations we may cancel or curtail the event or any part of it and in those circumstances you shall not be entitled to a refund.
9. Our Obligations
We shall take reasonable care and skill in arranging the event and comply with all applicable laws in relation to the event, where ever possible, re-schedule the event instead of cancelling. If any part of the event is cancelled, we shall refund you by means of a credit towards a future booking with Us to be used within 12 months of your original event date.
10. Final Numbers
4 weeks prior to your event, we shall ask the lead name of the group for final numbers for your event. The minimum balance of the final invoice will be based on these numbers. Blue Murder Events does not accept responsibility for the late arrival of Character Packs should the lead name fail to provide Final Numbers and all associated information requested by Us 4 weeks prior to the event.
12. Additional Guests
Additional guests to the group will be charged at the agreed rate. If additional guests are added to the event less than 48 hours prior to the event, a Late Fee of £20 per guest will be added in addition to the agreed per person rate.
13. Missing Guests/Late Arrivals
We expect You to arrive promptly at the agreed start time of the event. Should You arrive later than half an hour past the agreed start time, we reserve the right to withdraw our Host(s) and cancel the event. No refund will be given in this instance.
Individual guests who fail to attend the event will still be required to pay in full. We do not take responsibility for the success of the event in the instance that individuals with key character roles fail to attend the event, without sufficient notice.
14. Changes to these Terms and Conditions
We may need to make changes to these Terms and Conditions; any changes can only be made by Us and not any third party member. We reserve the right to amend or improve these Terms and Conditions without prior notification. When it is necessary for changes to be made, we will forward you a copy of these changes and all reservations will abide by the amended terms, with the exception of reservations already made.
